Centro Europeu de Línguas has been a regular partner in European programs since 1987 (Youth for Europe, Lingua, Petra, Sócrates-Grundtvig, Leonardo da Vinci, Lifelong Learning Programme), and is currently promoter and partner of Action- Key1 and Key Action 2 of the Erasmus+ Program (European Commission, DG Education and Culture).
In 2011, the National Agency for the Lifelong Learning Program awarded the European Language Center the Mobility Certificate, recognizing the quality of our activity in this area.
In January 2001, the Centro Europeu de Línguas was awarded the European Seal for Innovative Language Teaching/Learning Initiatives 2000, an initiative of the European Commission (DG Education and Culture), organized in Portugal by the Institute of Educational Innovation. The award-winning project – CONSTRUCTOR 2000 – was developed within the scope of the Leonardo da Vinci programme, and creates pedagogical tools for learning foreign languages in the specific context of the civil construction sector.
The Centro Europeu de Línguas is the only language school in Portugal distinguished, to date, with this European award.
The Centro Europeu de Línguas is a partner in this new initiative, related to the quality of preparation for official English language exams.
The Centro Europeu de Línguas an entity certified by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate for the preparation of candidates for official English language exams.
In October 2018, the Centro Europeu de Línguas was awarded the 2018 European Language Label. The award-winning project –Give me a Sign – was developed under the Erasmus+ program, and creates sign language programs for foreigners, specifically the deaf population, thus contributing to the promotion of multilingualism.
The Centro Europeu de Línguas is registered in the Financial Services Qualification System, after a rigorous application process. The FSQS is a reference used by the main banks and financial institutions in the selection of suppliers.
Since 2024, Centro Europeu de Línguas has been part of the LISBON CITY OF LEARNING partnership.
